I might be interested, is the UPS knackered or the battery?

Ah - I see the confusion - the battery is knackered. the rest appears to work fine. off the top of my head 2.7kwh?

battery bank is four shoe boxes size, strong man lift. separate ups unit is the same size, but much lighter.

i am amazed at the fooling around.
here we have guy who is offering a 80volt ups for free, all one has to do is,lay hands on a controller and add the solar panels together to match and plug into it for sinewave lecky.
if you had 40 forklift cells you could do without the controller and add a dump load in series.if i lived nearby i would take it immediatly. i always have room for ups and i have dozens of them, from 12volt to 120volt.they are wonderfull things to have around.

If he voltage was lower I would have it.

Most I can re-wire my bank up to is 60v.

hi guy,
maybe some newbie will join later and be really glad of it.people dont seem to realise that the high voltage in the ups  is a desirable thing. the batteries can be wired and configured much safer and easier. somewhere is there somebody sitting waiting for your ups.
