Yes, I agree. Also, someone who is a regular contributor but only joined recently, wouldn't feature. I was just trying to avoid listing everyone!
If anyone would like to add someone to the list - just post a request and I'll add them. I'll add Wookey's two excellent nominations.
Ivan, I can't find EricW on the list of candidates??? Klaus

Klaus Eric should certainly be there. His contributions have always been very useful and his recent work on PIC one wire slaves is outstanding IMHO. Frotter If you have a 1-wire network ( i seem to vaguely remember a post (or several hundred!) with some data though not sure if you are using 1-wire) then look at my thread http://www.navitron.org.uk/forum/index.php/topic,8978.0.htmlEric has made the breakthrough which makes this all possible. Wookey Quality not necessarily equal to quantity. true But i have to be careful with that , my little boy gets 2 years tomorrow and he picks up all that is going on here .... Minus is one of his most said words ( cause our battery monitor shows - , so we draw more then we produce) He dances to ACDC while we are on Minus and draining the Battery I would say "Quality of words is expandable " A quality "No" does not mean more then a quantity thoughts Billi

This is a very difficult exercise to complete. The forum and its members provide fantastic advice. I have learnt a lot since coming to this forum and yet there is still so much I do not know... Whilst the vote will result in a winner, for me it is every member who is a winner for the knowledge and advice brought together is fantastic. Nicolas

It has come to our attention that some individuals have been sending copious quantities of private messages to other forum members offering Christmas Parties/Free drinks etc, presumably in an effort to drum-up their popularity. Please note that anyone caught doing this again will be instantly removed from the Top Member voting list.

As opposed to handing out tax breaks, threatening to not build schools etc http://www.publicinquiry.eu/2009/07/02/ned-okeeffe-let-them-eat-cake/ Deputy O’Keeffe said he was being honest with the parents’ council of Rathcormac NS (National School) when he said he would not lobby the Minister for Education, Batt O’Keeffe.
He explained that he had not received votes in the area when he ran for election to the Dail in 2007.
“I was contacted by a representative for the parents’ council and told her straight out my position. Des O’Malley used to do the same. All things being equal, I asked her why I should look after the people of Rathcormac if they didn’t look after me? I told her there was no funding available.”
Because you’re a f***ing elected representative perhaps, Ned, who gets paid by those taxpayers in Rathcormac?
But, there you have it.
F*** you Rathcormac if you don’t vote for me. And f*** you and your children in their Portakabins.
F*** you if you don’t vote Fianna Fail. And if you don’t vote for me next time, I might just stop road repairs, reduce the number of gardai, and give planning permission for a dump next to you, too.

Excuse me where is my considerable bribe?
This sort of easy laid back style doesn't come easily you know. And just remember we only got through the first book of Tower Tales and unless I start to see some evidence of some tactical voting, specifically for those at the end of the alphabetical listing, it's going to mean more whimsical sub Lord of the Rings pastiche's and we wouldn't want now that would we? So just swallow your pride, ignore that Ivan fellow and his wishy washy bright eyed innocence as to the proper way to 'run' an election and get your remaining votes in for Wyleu. You know it makes sense. Because we wouldn't want to wake up one morning and find a horse's head in your expansion tank, now would we?

We could have Speccybloke listed as a sort of stalking horse candidate..? If none of the regular forum members float ones goat then a vote for Spec could be a tactical protest. "None of the above" sort o thing. Who knows - he may actually register on here one day......
