308Wp of PV gave a max of 162 Watts into the grid.

That is very impressive for a winter day.

This system only gets the sun after 0930 hours in the summer and 1230 hours in the winter

1200 x 450mm non solar dedicated twin coil cylinder (slightly more capacity and slightly less efficient heat exchange). Panels facing due south and have a total flow and return pipe work of approximately 54 metres in 10mm copper tube. 20 vacuum tubes and some old flat plate panels situated on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire

17/02 good sun

Start of solar gain temperature 22C Sensor 450mm from the bottom of cylinder

1 litres water drawn approx between start of solar gain and end of solar gain

End of solar gain temperature 40C

Sensor 200mm from top of cylinder start 40C finish 55C

David,

Yes its great for the middle of February. Today PV peak output was 174 Watts, generated 0.50 kWh by 12:07 but only 0.71 kWh total because the panels dont face south yet.

Tank went from 41C to 67C!

I will start posting under February/March etc  temperatures from now on. For newcomers, Paul`s monthly digest is the easier to follow.

Shame we can't have an interactive graph. It would be nice to see the temperatures plotted, but too much hassle...

Lord Wyleu,

We can host it/link it on the navitron website, if you are agreeable...
