Hi GB
yesterday was OK but today was perfect! Will get a bit cold later as perfectly clear Milky Way  very visible tonight. 9kWh PV and tank upto 32 degrees at S_2 (bottom of 228Litre Cylinder). Better than last week one day it got to -6 degrees (and that wax maximum temperature). It has been so cold for so long that 3 degrees feels tropical!

Thirteen degrees outside today and very sunny.   Thirteen KWh  from 60 X 47mm tubes, same as best day in December.

At last a decent solar HW day - and it's still Jan.
Start: 33C (tank average), by 2pm: 47C (tank average). Then it got used for dishes and washing machine.
Outside temp: 2C
Flow and return differential (i.e includes pipe losses): ~8C.

DH
different weather here. Deep snow, mile thick cloud most days.  Thought Jan would be a complete write off but the past two days have been superb. 228L tank to 56 degrees  and 13kWh of PV today - that's 25kWh over the past two days! Sadly the rest of the month has been so bad that I am now on 702 kWh so only 80 kWh this month.
