like said its more likely to be a ultrafiltration membrane , not a reverse osmosis ....
the benefit of the ultrafiltration membrane is you need lesser energy to press the "dirty "water trough the filter , as far as i know reverse osmosis is dumping parts of the water ( might be wrong ) and needs higher pressure (so hard to use it as a inline filter )
