Thanks Ken ,

Impressed with your French !

I am English , I live in Poole, Dorset  but I am renovating a farmhouse in Brittany  , hopefully as ECO friendly as I can , on green and money saving grounds !

(so that when I escape Blairs Britain I can become a tree hugger and my money lasts longer LOL . )

Moules et Frites,

I'm hoping to leave Blair's sinking ship ASAP.

I have my heart set on Portugal, about 20 or 30 miles in from the Algarve coast. Lots of hills, woodlands and the food and wine  is great.

A 5 Euro note goes a lot further than a £5 note.

Good luck in France, but do try to tackle some of the basics of their language, they will accept you much more.

SHOUTING AT THEM IN ENGLISH DOES NOT WORK  ;-)

Hi Ken,

Look out for an old water mill, there are quite a few in the portugese hills - I saw a run-down mill going for peanuts a few years ago - this will give you endless renewable power.

Kind regards

Ivan
