Rats, space constraints mean that I can't do the system with stacked cylinders within the house Sad

So now my choices are:
A) The pair of 140L cylinders in the loft (above the wood stove and near the panels) OR
B) A proper thermal store, but outside somewhere.

B) still isn't looking likely due to the cost, really.


And the whole MCS/RHI thing is putting me off doing anything, even though I have most of the bits Sad

It is reasonably OK.   This capacity won't do much more than hold hot water overnight  but a good stove can stay burning a bit overnight and can be started fairly easily in the morning.    If you could manage to get a one  bigger tank it would save having to do it  later and have a more efficient system that only needs the stove lighting at full output for a few hours in the evening.
