Need a quick answer to a query about Fits payments

Example

If i produce 15kw through a Hydro Turbine how do i calculate the KWH for payment?

Hope i am not being to thick

Don't believe Hydro is eligible for FIT , com'on where's Ted when we need him?

Hydro is eligible - if you can find an MCS-certified product and installer.  You need a total generation meter that will clock the kWh. A constant 15kW running 24 hours will generate 360 kWh a day. At the full FIT rate of 19.9p per kWh you would get £71.64 a day.

Sadly - there is no product accredited for hydro. Or installer. But - as Ted says - its kW x hours per day x 19.9p - assuming that you make power 24/7/365 - which is unlikely in most small / pico / micro hydro installs.

I tried to buy this

Lot one went for £11,000 and Lot 2 went for a surprising £61,000

Never mind i still have the River Jed at the Btm of the garden.
