Installing renewable energy systems can be a great way to make savings on your energy bills and help to combat climate change at the same time. Most of our systems such as solar pv, solar thermal , heat pumps and biomass boilers are eligible for government backed incentive schemes which makes the installation of a renewable energy system even more attractive.

Solar PV - A system installed on your roof, typically up to 4kW, can yield up to 4500kWh per year depending on your location and the angle of your roof, in addition you would be eligible for the Feed-In tariff payments. This will reduce the amount of electricity you buy from your provider and will give you a quarterly income for 20 years to help offset your energy bills. You could increase the amount you use by adding and Immersun or a hybrid system that allows you to store the energy ready to use when you need it.

Solar thermal - A thermal system installed onto a domestic property will normally be able to give you all your hot water needs for at least six months of the year and a significant contribution at other times, so you won't need to turn the boiler on in the summer to heat small amounts of hot water. In addition you would be eligible for the Renewable Heat Iincentive which would payback over 7 years. You could increase the performance in the autumn and winter by utilising our HFC panels.

Heat pumps - Both air source and ground source heat pumps can provide a very inexpensive method of heating your home. Both types are best suited for use with underfloor heating but can work with radiators in a well designed system. Domestic heat pump installations can be eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive

Biomass boilers - A biomass boiler burning approved pellets can be a very cost-effective option to replace old inefficient oil boilers. Available in a range of sizes to suit most domestic applications, they can be sited outside of the building and provided with storage solutions to provide automatic fuelling. Biomass systems may be eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive giving you a payment based on your energy requirement for 7 years.

To qualify for the Feed-In Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive you must use equipment and an installer which are certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Our friendly advisors can help guide you through the whole process.
