    Electricity and gas usage varies substantially across different times of the year. But according to Selectra, the medium average monthly usage in a UK home is:

    -          8.5 – 10 kWh per day of electricity

    -          33 – 38 kWh per day of gas

    According to a 2017 estimate from OFGEM, the UK’s energy regulator, the average UK household spends £1,123 on gas and electricity each year.
