I am amazed how many innovations Octopus Energy come up with. They are loaning their customers a free thermal camera attachment for a smart phone for 7 days to find where they are leaking energy.

https://octopus.energy/blog/flir-thermal-cameras/

I enquired at the beginning of the month and thought I would have to wait months to get my hands on one but it arrived today.

Ever so easy to use, download the APP and just plug it in and it works.

Many year ago I laid an electrical heated floor in my kitchen and before I screeded and tiled over the cables, I thought I had better take a photo of the layout for future reference in case I need to drill through the floor. I did not bother and always regretted it. facepalm
But today the thermal camera shows exactly where they are. extrahappy

Outstanding, name down for 1.  genuflect was going to buy 1 a couple years back, scammed online, no recourse. Just shows, happy endings are there. Just a longer timeline! Thanks Nowty.

What a great idea, moving across to Octopus seems to have provided quite a few benefits so far.

I know it's not going to show to many surprises for my home unless I do run the central heating to warm the whole house, but the shots I'll take of my mother's home are going to be shocking.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I put my name down for one as it will be good to see the heat leak areas of my house.
