Title: RO2FIT - Proof of Ownership Question, Help Required
Post by: Hal64 on October 29, 2010, 11:09:11 AM
Hi,

Have a small DIY system commissioned back in March '10 under the RO scheme for which I've got Ogem accreditation. Have made my RO2FIT application with EDF but it is stalled with them now asking for my "invoice/receipt for the generation system" as proof of ownership.

The system has been pulled together from 'odds & sods' , private purchases, Ebay purchases etc and then self installed to meet regulations. Panels are MCS and inverter is G83/1. Tried to explain that given these circumstances I don't have an "invoice/receipt for the generation system". Anyone been in the same boat or have any good ideas to overcome this.

Any help appreciated.

Being advised that this is an Ofgem requirement and that all FIT licencees should require this information.

Unfortunately have just changed supplier from nPower to EDF - may live to regret that as nPower's original forms did not mention this requirement, but they may have tightened up by now.
