Title: Causes of copper corrosion in plumbing systems
Post by: djh on May 20, 2013, 12:08:08 PM
I've been reading a document that seems to be a really useful description of the causes of and remedies for corrosion in copper:

The link was originally posted by derekmt, but I thought it deserved greater prominence

Excellent document.

Asan aside, you can get copper corrosion in systems containing ultra pure water brought on by changes in oxygen level. Dealt with by getting rid of the copper water interface and using St/Steel.
