Interested to see which way IKEA was jumping.

A lot of bumph  Ikea UK does not recognise, Solstråle.
Nor solar panels
Nor PV.
Not under new products either

Found eventually under IKEA solar, separate search

IKEA estimates that when buying solar panels and adding on battery storage at a cost of £***** in total, homeowners can pay off the capital invested in the system in roughly 12 years, at a six per cent annual return.

There is a lot of greenwash about how many trees a solar panel is worth.

What panels  What inverter  What storage!

solarcentury are very keen to flog panels, very keen on Ikea, but no mention of batteries that I could see.

Probably me then!

How is this for a sales pitch!!

Greenwash warning!!!

By adding solar, you may well be adding to the value of your home. A solar PV system will typically improve your Energy Performance Certificate rating a whole grade. Government research has shown that by improving the energy efficiency of your house you can increase its value by a minimum of 3%. And given the average house now costs over £250,000 that represents additional value of more than the cost of the solar system.

It is good to see that a mainstream company is supporting renewable energies.

Not so good that it thinks the public are gullible idiots.

If the deal is good why not shout it out and tell people, rather than cuddle a panda waffle stir:
