Title: TERMOVAR AF thermic 3-way bypass valve --- WANTED
Post by: talisman on May 15, 2019, 09:29:04 AM
Hello All,
I hope you can help me. Approx 12 years ago I had a 22mm TERMOVAR AF thermic 3-way bypass valve 45c fitted to my solar thermal system.

Unfortunately this unit is failing, whereby it is not functioning correctly and is not loading the lower coil once the temperature exceeds the point when it is supposed to open.
This is causing the upper coil to reach undesirable temperatures.

Attached is a schematic Diagram:

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement.

Many thanks
Chris

I would think the internals will be a standard off the shelf item. I would remove them and try to match.

or try google as they still seem to make them, though I can't see a 22mm.

eg https://www.dinvvsbutik.se/cgi-bin/ibutik/AIR_ibutik.fcgi

or replacement guide.
