Title: Heat pump
Post by: markus on June 14, 2019, 08:24:54 PM
Hello every one!
I have a Sanyo co2 heat pump and matching thermal tank
It stopped  working  a year ago with the fault reading ‘comm error’
Have changed the PCB in the tank unit and one in the outdoor unit with no success.
Am trying to find someone to come and have a look but no one seems to keen to come
Any help..?

When you replaced the 2 PCBs did you also change the cabling between the 2 devices - A 'comm error' could just be a cable fault, which may include the loss of a common ground or neutral between the units.

Welcome to the forum Markus. There are several videos on YouTube which may help.

If i could not get it going again my next option was to change the outdoor unit
I was thinking of a mono bloc heat pump and try to use my existing Sanyo thermal store am sure this would be possible
Or am I wrong with the mono block Idea.
