Title: quickie about battery cable sizes......

 i have 6 x 2v x 200 ahr  batteries connected in series then the same connected parallel  with 10mm copper cable , one cable of about 1 metre one of about 30cms . my questions are :

1) Is the thickness of this cable ok ? Considering there is only 80ws too keep them  charged /topped up and no current will be drawn from them until i m in situ again

Why put a cable in now that will need uprating later?

because i have very little time on site ...... and want too preserve batteries primarily....
