Hello.

For those who might be interested.

E.ON have granted me fits for my non-MCS pre-April 2010 installed system. They also backdated it to the begining of April as I registered with them then and they said it would accrue whilst the ofgem paperwork went through. I received the paperwork on Friday which needs returning in 10 days. To date, E.ON have been very helpful.

Lets see if some money ever actually changes hands !

Jut looking at the form, can anybody help me with this part of the E-on FIT's application.
Q ; What is the total installed capacity of your generator in kW or MW? - Well it's 3.96 kW panels in total on the roof (18 x 220w Sharp)

What do i put here though?

Q ; What is the declared net capacity of your generator in kW or MW? - Is this the same as above or the limitation of the inverter (SMA3300, max ac output 3600w), any help appreciated.
Perhaps it'll become obvious when the MCS certificate arrives?

I took it to mean the kwp of the array & then that minus the controllers internal consumption.

So normally that would be

Installed capacity = 3.96kwp & then that minus the controllers/inverters internal usage is the net capacity.

However as you inverter cant do more than 3.6kwp that might be the second figure.

Well Tesco finally decided to send me my receipt and MCS certificate 3 weeks after I'd paid in full  Angry ( & only after I e-mailed them at the weekend to see what the holdup was, they've not replied to that e-mail either ) and the Declared Net Capacity is stated on the MCS cert as 3.96kw, exactly the same as the installed panels.
FIT's application went off to E-On this afternoon, generation meter reading from today as they now require one less than 4 days old. I sent a copy of my receipt as well as a copy of the MCS cert after reading this thread

just to be safe.

Does the receipt clearly state something along the lines of "Paid in Full"?

I mention this because weeks into the registration process with SSE I was told that the receipt included with my application was not adequate as a proof of ownership because it didn't include such wording. See topic: http://www.navitron.org.uk/forum/index.php/topic,11953.msg130873.html

Yes it clearly states 'Invoice paid in full - Thank you for your business'.
We'll see what happens, annoyed it took so long to get my paperwork despite paying straight away on completion as I've missed out on around 70 in FITs. Wonder if October 2035 will be as good as the one just gone?  Grin
