Donít leave an open tin of Armaflex glue in your shed unprotected. I did after using only a little of it. When I came back to it I found the evaporation fairies had stolen the rest of the tin. An expensive mistake. facepalm

Did you recognise the solvent smell (sorry, I haven't sniffed armaflex)? If so, you could add some fresh solvent to reconstitute. Most things can be redissolved in one of the following: Water, Methanol, Acetone, White Spirit

Never used it. Does it smell like the solvent glue used for solvent waste pipe? If so the solvent is normally MEK - methyl ethyl ketone.

i used to use stuff called "tangent" before there were any warnings on the use of such glue in confined spaces.it was exellent for welding waste pipes but by god was it strong, using it under the sink and suddenly your vision was quite impaired and your nose would go numb,,,i used to lock it away after the first few tins got stolen,

I hate the stuff, especially indoors always gets you a little stoned in a nasty way. I cannot see what kids get out of it
