have just connected 12 x 2v 1100amp opz batteries together for 24 v system. the opz batteries come with pre fabricated connectors that once fitted leave no exposed terminal or copper. question is do the terminals still need protective greasing and if they do does vasseline do the job?

probably, and yes - its just to keep out the air - spray grease is often just as good, and gets into the nooks and crannies.
