Posting this as there seems to be fair amount of innovative folks on here.

So what do I do with a decommissioned Windsave system?

Just taken it off house ,  believe inverter was OK just the actual turbine itself seized up a while back.  

Was wondering if it is a scrapyard job or if it would be of use to anyone?

In central Scotland.

Probably just needs bearings, I'd stick it on eBay, I'm there are plenty of folk  who'd be interested.
