I love our local library - Muir Of Ord, Highland!!! Grin

May not appear at first sight to be relevant to this forum, however I would suggest our "addictions" are one of the roots of our problems - so sustainability is my claim.

To quote the last line "The Quicker we are to spot the technological tricks that manipulate our 'wanting' impulse, the greater will be our chance of resisting them"

http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2012-05/24/damian-thompson

Anyone who suspects that we seem to be getting less and less capable of resisting our "addictions" - be it drugs, facebook, smart phones, alchohol, sugar, online gambling/gaming....may find this a good read. Lots of interesting stuff on how we are all being manipulated by those gods of our economy - the marketeers.

If you thought "Affluenza" hit the spot - then this one pokes it really hard.
