So far as I can work out, you've just invented a really complicated way to measure the Coriolis force. Why bother? There are lots of easier ways to measure it, and it only gives you your latitude, which can be measured with something as simple as a calibrated stick (and has been for centuries). Measuring longitude requires an accurate clock, at which point it is much simpler to refer to the sun and go back to the calibrated stick method.

OK, I'm being a little excessively harsh - this may be of some minor use somewhere, eventually. Ultimately it's a solution in search of a problem though.
