Hi

Does anyone know if the green-deal assessment gives a figure of the number of kWh a house will need to be heated by a (biomass) boiler annually, or does it state the size of the boiler that is required?
And also, how do I know how many hours my system will be running for?

The reason for asking is I'm looking at online calculators and figures for a biomass boiler and some calculators ask for a size of boiler and multiply the figure by 1314 to get operational hours (on which payments are made) and some ask for size of boiler and number of hours it will be running for.....which I assume the GD assessment won't tell me about.

Enlightenment is much appreciated.

Thanks

The EPC gives the heat demand for space heating and hot water. The GDA gives estimated financial costs and potential savings.
RHI payments are based on renewable heat used and not influenced by operating hours, have a look at https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/212089/Domestic_RHI_policy_statement.pdf
