Hi,

I will be applying online at end of week for RHI for my BioMass boiler.

I am having my first EPC carried out the day before (mine is a new self build house).

The way I read all the documents online and the OFGEM website, the higher the Energy use in kWh/m2per year is stated on the EPC, the higher my monthly payment.

Have I got this right?

Almost right. The higher the space heating and hot water figures, both in kWh, the more you get paid. If you want to game the system there are ways, but morals come into it and ultimately you must not tell any lies. I believe targeted and random rhi audits take place.

And make sure you have all the paperwork that OFGEM require you to produce to prove that yours is a new self build house.

Had my RHI confirmed today for Biomass & Solar.

Unless I missed something though, those like me who had the RHPP are losing out. I lose about 450.

No point arguing with OFGEM, as that's the way the system works it.

Must have had brain fade when writing last post.

I didn't take onboard that later start = later finish, so I will still get the full amount   wackoold
