Hi
Does anyone have experiance using a transformerless inverter (2400w-3000w)
I am helping a friend install his system and have a very good deal for a 2400w inverter. It also has a 30amp charger built in.

I've got a 3kva transformerless, which is a H bridge/PWM type.  The only issue I had was the need for a good earth connection so the output filters could do their thing.  Don't forget to copy the existing grid earthing scheme ie TT, TNS etc.
They should be more efficient than transformer ones, but crawl over the spec.  No name ones will skimp on the filters and the remaining noise will slowly damage connected devices.  Mine is pretty quiet but I'd not want it next to a bedroom.
