Came across these by accident on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Solar-Voltage-Electric-Heating-Element/dp/B00GLS2V7A/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A1YKPAGKS9QL8 too late for me but they look like a bargain at 77. Very little info on them but they look like stainless steel, I paid 80 for plain ceramic 1500w air dumps and was quoted just shy of 200 for 3kW immersion elements.

Good find , the supplier is a German online shop with other voltages as well   and a more interesting  gadgets  "Ideas4motion"
