Can anyone help me with this.
I have an ESP classic 15Kw air to water heat pump that failed a few days ago. It started OK but when I came back to it later the indoor display was totally dead and the pump was not running. I found that the Chiller 300 controller had failed so I removed and repaired it but when I refitted it I found that one of the fan motors had failed which is what I assumed killed the controller. The pump runs but overheats with just the one fan spinning.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fan?
I purchased it from earthsave a few years ago but they are not responding to my requests for assistance (I had the same issue with them during installation).
The motor is 45W with a long shaft (I can provide more info if needed).
I have spent a lot of time searching the internet but cannot find anywhere to purchase them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
Worth checking if you haven't already, the fan motor to see if there is any makers name as a starting point. A photo would be handy.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I did a search on the manufacturer but could not find anything.
The information on the label is

Galanz
45W
3uF capacitor
shaft is 12 x 125mm
Motor body is 150mm diameter including the flange
Body is 85mm high
Possible part number is PF3404-330112060057

I will try to get a photo.

If the electric motor is definitely the issue and you can't find a replacement you may want to consider whether you can get is rewound. I know this is common on larger motors, and not normally financially worthwhile on small ones, but in your case it seems its alot more than just the cost of the motor that is the issue.

I assume you have checked placed like Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-100-tested-for-Air-conditioner-inner-machine-motor-RPS15D-RPS15F-1-220V-Motor-fan/32603718180.html?spm=2114.10010108.1000023.15.n3bapA
I do notice they say send a photograph if you are not sure so maybe they can help if you ask. This is just the first site I found - not any sort of recomendation

I may be missing the point, but why don't you just contact Julio Dias at eSaveP and buy a new fan off them? I had a noisy fan on my 25kw ASHP and got the replacement from them, they should have them in stock. I realise it may cost more, but you'll up and running again quickly

just to be sure here, its an air to water heat pump, so the fans are for the evaporator side, more likely to freeze up than anything else, whats overheating? the circulation pump or the compressor?

is it actually overheating or just cutting out ?

chances are it's cutting out because the evaporator (cold grill in outside unit) is getting too cold and messing up the balance of the system - lack of air flow to warm it up
