Has anyone heard about Microgen's Whispergen (I think it's called)?
It's due out early next year allegedly, costs cú600 more than a regular condensing boiler, but converts the energy generated from the gas supply to electricity...?

Would this be enough to power a GSHP system for UFH Huh

Cheers for that.

Sme conflicting views.  Bt will have a look-see at their website.  Ideally I'm trying to design a GSHP to deliver the house needs, with a boiler in back-up.  I thought (perhaps naively) that the power generated by a CHP might cover the need for the GSHP...

I need an integrated/coordinated approach, to use in conjunction with a water UFH system, and perhaps a solar collector, which means someone will have to be paid for the service I guess!!
