Victron have a 'Whitepaper' called "Self-consumption or Grid independence with the Victron Energy Storage Hub".

You might find it interesting reading even if you don't end up using Victron kit.

This kind of setup with regard to FLA batteries needs to be looked at in a different way to an off grid. For off grid its mainly about getting the best lifespan out of the batteries so a low discharge tends to be the way to go.

However, for this application its all about cost per kWh over the lifetime of the batteries. Deeper discharges will give better efficiency as the charging efficiency at high SOC is pretty poor. I would say to only expect to get around half the kWh back of what you have put in.

Lithium batteries are so much better in so many ways for this application, if you put aside the cost! Although is you really can get 6,000 cycles from the LifeP04 batteries it starts to look better and prices are coming down. I've considered getting some lithium and may still get some just to play with but as a 20 year financial investment, there is a good chance I'll be six foot under by then.

Lithium can take deeper discharge, has better charging efficiency, doesn't have to be fully charged and can capture much more energy than a FLA.

lead acid based storage solutions , that are on the market , claim an efficiency of over 80%  and a very cost efficient solution  , so close to  Lixxx ideas , when it comes to efficiency  (or way cheaper per kWh)  mainly  Victron Multi , SMA SI , Studer xtender (off-grid/hybrid) inverters are used to AC- couple  the existing PV  



Not sure if one of those Taiwan  made inverters can work with FiT  best option is a product called InfiniSolar
