Hello all computer fiends

I have just found Mrs T's old dell laptop computer (not used for a while) while unpacking, it used to run xp it had slowed to a grinding halt and had a flickering screen.
She now just uses her tablet.

Thought it might be fun to try linux so downloaded zorin thinking it might rejuvenate it.  Thinking of Martin here Cry

It installed just fine.
No more flickering screen, hurrah I thought feeling slightly complacent.
Connected by ethernet cable to the web it looked a done deal.

Hmmmm
I cannot get the wifi to work.

Can anyone give me a steer?
Evidently old dell's 7 years old are a bit of a b**ger.  Help on the internet confuses more than aids

Please keep it simple words of one syllable  wackoold

Thanks chaps

Usually some sort of driver problem.

Step 1. Open a terminal window and type:

lspci -nnk | grep -i net

and post the results here.
