What's the best grease for the gearbox and spindle of a linear actuator?

Anything I find in my workshop with 'EP' written on the canister.  Wink

I seem to recall digger-drivers on a road-building project behind me using 'Alvania' for doing the ram-pivots.

I don't know if they still do the stuff, it may have been replaced.

EpEver STI1000-24-230 pure sine inverter
Of course it'll work. (It hasn't caught fire yet).

I was thinking molybdenum disulfide or white lithium.

Any use? I think all the EP greases are Lithium-containing in one form or another

What I'm trying to avoid is separation of oils due to lack of use.
I'm going manual control so highly intermittent use.

Says 'EP' on the label, so probably ideal.

10% oil separation a week.

Somewhere between looking for the best compromise between separation, low viscosity and EP I decided life was too short to worry about it and bought the first one.
