Did everyone have a bad month?  We were away so I have no idea how bad the weather was in reality at our house.
However, our total for April was 31% down on April average for previous years.

As I have microinverters but have lost all ability to measure the individual panel performance I am wondering if I might have a problem.

TIA

Hopefully May will make up for March and April.

Damn, now I've jinxed it.

Worst Jan, Feb, Mar and April on record for me over the past 6.5 years (Ipswich area) despite having nice, cleaned panels! Has anyone invented cloud panels?

Lousy start to year, but if TheFairway hasn't jinxed it, I'm in for a shout at my all-time best monthly figure in May.

Funnily my best month was my first full month of generation, May 2011.

In a perverse way I'm glad to read this thread. I was away for a few weeks till last weekend and caught up with recording my output when I got back, and I was shocked at how cr*p it's been so far this year. I've had the stuff for 6 full calendar years and this year is the worst bar one, which was 2013. And it' s not even much higher that that was. So I was wondering if I had a problem  ( - I've already had 2 inverter replacements!) or dirty panels - though they look clean enough and aren't shadowed at any time.

So I'll take it that it's not just me, and hope that it outperforms for the rest of the year!! ISTR that the original paperwork suggested that my capital was returned during year 8 and this could be in jeopardy, especially given two fairly long (and badly timed) outages for inverter warranty replacements.

I suspect that Paul, (Camillitech),
Is having a good April RE production so far, In my own case, The wind has taken up the slack and we have full tanks of hot water and any amount to electricity. Our rads have been warm almost every day ,with our fuel needs to a bare minimum. Our PV production is good as well. We are having one of the windiest years to date. I do not remember the wind blowing as constant as this but we are not complaining,

I'm only 10kWh short of my April total and we are not quite half way through the month yet.

Can't complain as my April figure (408.2kWh) is above the average for the past 8 years (401.5) though it was 509kWh in 2011 but only 305kWh in 2012.

Just joking as it could be read that you were still working on your April target without realising you were now well into May.

I'm in a similar boat, about 50kWh short of April's gen already in May.

This morning at 09:45, my PV generation for May (so far) matched the total for April. 16 and-a-bit days of mostly good, with another week of mostly good forecast.

Of course it'll work. (It hasn't caught fire yet).
