I know this might seem a silly question, but can we fill our 30 tube system with fluid before we install the tubes to check for leaks etc, or do we have to install the tubes first?

Hi
I filled mine first then added the tubes later.
The only issue I found was the manifold had to be spot on doing it this way.
If you put the tubes in first before tightening the collector end fitting there will be a bit of slack for inserting the tubes.
On mine I found some of the tubes were tight going in. The collector was not quite in the correct position. It was rotated very slightly. I had to slacken the end nuts slightly to let it realign.
If you put a couple of tubes in when you tighten up the collector end nuts to confirm alignment then they can be removed for later.
