Author Topic: Solarman app connection issues with SOFAR ME3000SP  (Read 279 times)

I have just had my solar PV system installed. I have a 9.6kW battery storage setup managed by a SOFAR ME3000SP. I am trying to connect to it from the solarman app but for some reason I cannot add the inverter as a device.

When I scan or manually enter the serial number I just get a temporary box on the phone screen saying "Logger connected" which fades away and nothing happens.

If I go through the "No device" route I can set my plant up and even connect to the ME3000SP but I still can't then add it as a device and the app just says it is "Building".

Has anyone else had this issue and if so is there a fix that anyone knows of?

Hi there, I assume you did the install of the sofar yourself?
Because generally, if an installer does the install he/she is supposed to do all this for you.

I did mine myself a few months ago and hit the same issue.
Any way if you send an email to sofar support, they will get you to confirm it's serial number, and send a screenshot of the settings page and sort it out for you, takes a couple of days.

Remove the spaces and change the symbol

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did not do the installation myself but I didn't get any monitoring software with the package I had installed. I was told (and shown) that the Solarman app by IGEN did all that I needed and I think that it does.

I'll try SOFAR as you suggest and see what they say.
