Re paragliding I'm sure you've heard the phrase 'If you could see what the air was doing you wouldn't be flying in it'. Hehe.  Still good fun though.  I hope that other paraglider was ok.

Spent some time working offshore many years ago, helo's were our regular taxi to work. Once had a memorable early morning flight from Aberdeen to Stornoway, mostly low level through the hills. No cameras in the pockets back then which was a shame, some epic views.

Also, another lapsed PPL pilot here, been pondering paragliding or paramotoring as a budget way to get back in the skies these days. Nice to see some other flyboys here.
