Hi Im a noob from County Down...

I have had 2 Dimplex GSHP supplying heat & water to my home for about 10 years ÖÖ.. They have given me quite a bit of bother Soft Starter burnout and capacitor burnout.... the servicing costs delay and the total indifference of the manufacturer have brought me to the point where I have now decided they are going to have to be replaced

I have found a local GSHP installer who is recommending a single Ecoforest unit at a cost of c.£9k Ö..

Anyone have experience with these machines ?

Thanks

Jonny

I have installed several Ecoforest heat pumps. They work well and have an inverter driven variable speed compressor which means they are virtually silent when just idling along. We havn't really had any problems with them. Just connect them up and they work. Are you going to use the original groundloop or dig a new one. Do you get RHI paymants over there.

Hi and thanks for the reply.....
Hopefully just use the existing ground loops..... as the £9k cost doesnít include anything other than the machine and itís install & adjustments to electrics / plumbing noise isnít an issue as they are in a boiler house attached to the garage ...
Just want some reassurance they are sound pumps ..... and I will not have the maintenance nightmares I have had with Dimplex.....
