Slightly optimistic reporting really. They may have just installed the 70th mast and nacelle etc. but they're only up to fitting the blades to the 7th so that is still some way to go.

All this does is wind me up (no pun intended) when I think about all the non-British involvement in the installation process excepting Mr.McGregor and World Energy for providing the facilities at Nigg. Mustn't get in to the area of politics though!

How long does it take to attach the blades, since they have 77 sets still to go and finish is spring 2019?

Sounds like a blade shortage. The usual procedure is for the jack-up vessel to arrive with complete kits for up to 3 turbines. The blades are manufactured by Siemens at Hull.
