Normally Good Energy sends me an email reminder that FIT reading is due in a couple of days time. They have not done this (now twice in a row). Anyone else had this problem?

You might be able to back date to 21st?  I am not sure if they always need the photo of the meter.
E.g. current gen meter reading minus generation so far today from the inverter.

I often don't get them from BG but submit them anyway and don't have a problem. Wish they didn't use cheques though, but they are always very quick to issue them. Smiley

I recieved the Good Energy email meter read reminder on 12 June.

Quote one paragraph states.

"Remember, if we don't recieve your reading by 21 June 2019, you won't be paid until next quarter. Rest assured, you won't miss out on any money that's due to you, but we can't arrange your payment until you've provided your reading."

Looks like you're gonna get 2 lots next time if you failed to send by 21 June 2019.

Note, I did contact Good Energy last year and asked if I could just send one reading a Year and get the whole years worth of FIT payment in one lump, they said this would be possible if I wanted to but to contact them every quarter to remind them of this.

I'm with BG and although they do email reminders, their only stipulation is that the reading is at least 83 days after the last one.

So to make things simple I ignore the reminders and only submit 2 readings a year, end of Dec and end of June.

That way I get two near identical payments per year instead of 4 very different amounts.

I am with NPower.
I submitted my reading midday on Thursday when the meter read 600 units more than at 31 March.  That way they cannot round down what they pay me.  They never found up.

At 5pm a meter reader came to check my generation meter reading.

 Coincidence or not. ? ? ?

At least I had been, as always, totally honest with the reading.

I'm also with British Gas - I always seem to get an email reminder, (got one last week in fact) - but likewise wish they would just pay it directly into the bank rather than sending a cheque!

I never get a reminder from either SSE or Scottish Power, (2 separate systems, 2 different FiT providers). However when I get the statement and they pay me they both give a date to submit the next reading.  SSE I always phone through a few days before as every time I have submitted online I have had to chase it up. They always pay straight to the bank and for the last 3 years within 21 days, sometimes as quick as 3 days. Scottish Power I submit via the website and it has always been paid direct to the bank within 21 days - been the case since 2011.
