I don't have a Sofar ME3000SP anymore but I do still have the files for V1.90. That was the latest a few months back.

I will send to your registered email address in your profile.

Hi Nowty,
Could you possibly do the same for me? I'm about to get a ME3000SP off FleaBay, it would be handy to have the latest code to load.
How did you get your latest version - it doesn't appear to be available on their website?
Thanks.

If you have a Dropbox or One Drive (or any file sharing product, even email) why not just put the file in that and share it with those that want it, saves all of the hassel of posage Etc and people can just come and get the file for themselves?

Interesting!  I contacted them two days ago to get the manual for v2.1 (as the one it came with was for v1.7) and they told me 2.1 was the latest available.

I guess the simple conclusion is that the website and support are somewhat lacking.  Slightly worrying.

I know this post is a little old but does anyone have a copy of the firmware for the HYD6000 and ME3000?

I posted the same question on another subject.

Just email SoFar and they'll send you the latest firmware for the ME3000.  And then post on here the version they gave you!

Is there a list/description anywhere of what is changed in the latest version of the software? I'm currently on 1.90.

There are a couple of things I would like to be able to change: one is to reduce the switch on point for the charger, it currently only starts charging if the export is above 100W. The other is to find out why the remaining capacity sometimes drops to 16% even though it is set to 20% for the Pylon batteries. At the moment I've reduced the depth of discharge to 77% so these events don't degrade the battery. May be I should increase the minimum allowed battery voltage!

With something like Pylontech batteries, it could be a help to go to the latest release.  At 1.90, you are a long way behind the current releases, since releases did not just go up in 10's

Evaluating the % of battery remaining would likely be one area of improvement.  The other is the addition of additional countries in the country list and the addition of additional pre-built Lithium Battery Packs.

If anyone builds their own pack with LiFePO4 cells, you need to configure them as Lead-Acid's
