While perusing one of the links on a thread today, I noticed the headline and it led to this:

onyxmotorcycles.com

and

https://electrek.co/2019/02/08/onyx-60-mph-electric-mopeds/

Clearly not legal in the UK (a moped capable of 60mph), but looks fun.  The lower powered step-through version is available in the US, too.

Sorry to go off topic (kind of related)

Anyone hear the other day that there are now "imminently" 3 areas of the country (one of which is set to BRISTOL) for testing the viability of E-peds / E-scooters ..but I doubt E-skateboards are to be in the mix.

Hopefully E-peds will be included in an updated form compared to that of the nigh on dead "mo-ped"

I remember those Yamaha Fizzies & Suzuki AR50s fitted with crackle box exhausts, nasty noisy things.
These e bikes look great. You will have to wear leathers, boots, full face helmet and gloves. otherwise if you fall off at 60 MPH, nasty.
