We are aware that isolation due to Covid -19 restrictions has posed a stress on everyone.

However we are a small community and it has been noticeable that we have had more complaints during the last fortnight than during the previous two years.

A gentle reminder, manners cost nothing.

It is considered impolite to hijack For Sale threads to post your own items for sale. Start your own thread it is not difficult.

There has been a marked increase of snide  one line posts, this is borderline trolling and will please stop.

If you have something to say compose your thoughts.
Chill.
Then write one post in a language understandable to the entire forum and not in several disjointed soundbites.

To remind you

A Forum 'a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged'

This is not twitter.

You can completely disagree with someone, do so coherently and politely, differing points of view can be conducted in a reasonable manner.

Sorry to sound like your Mum.

Be nice

NB  Tod,s above post is not up for discussion.
We need to be more tolerant and careful of what we
write and how other perceive it.
             Thank you all for reading.

Hi Tod,

This made me smile as I think it also applies to the work environment.  I've seen a few email recently that could have done with a few minutes cooling off and then a re-visit before hitting send.

Well said though and thanks for reminding us all what a nice place this forum is.

I don't think the first post in this thread was handled well, as it effectively named the person through a process of elimination.

Hi TT,
I am sorry you are unhappy with the process.
We will endeavour to try harder to get it right.
It is hard to tick all the boxes but goodness, we do try.
Your process of elimination may be incorrect,  there has been nobody banned that I am aware off and nobody named.
