Still only 1st day of the month! so reasonably excited - especially as I have had to provide photographs of the meter reading as this quarters FiT read is way above there seasonal tolerance levels - even I had to go back and double check!

Your kWh/kWp is 80% higher than mine! That's an improvement, it was only 50% higher last month (194 kWh/kWpk) . Helped at this time of year by the shallow panel angle! Average annual figure is 1161 kWh/kWpk The desert thing is an urban myth - debunked by the Met Office and others. One definition of a desert is rainfall of less than 10 inches (254mm) per year. Year to date we have had 211mm and we are only half way through! Most years I record 450 to 600mm. The real reasons my kWh/kWpk figures are high in the summer are a) the shallow panel angle b) we do get a lot of clear skies due to the fact we are a pennisular sticking out into the channel causing all sorts of weird effects, one is a so called micro climate and c) we get constant cool wind to keep the panel temperature down - currently 25 MPH and 17 deg C
