Spotted 2 very different EVs this morning parked up within 50m of eachother.

First, a brand new Made in China Tesla 3.
This has new headlights, double glazed windows (Chinese glass manufacturer), different wheels, no chrome, heat pump, different interior, and possibly LiFePO4 battery pack (this one was a standard range plus)

Second, a 2012 era Renault Fluence. A rare beast indeed!










And Sainsbury’s has dug up the EV charging area. I’m hoping they’re adding more charge points...

I'm assuming it's a MiC model 3, as the glass on it is from a Chinese glass supplier called Fuyao, and there have been rumours of MiCs being sent for export in the last couple of months

Are Tesla now importing made in China model 3s to the UK?

I was surprised to see a Fluence - I don't think I've ever seen one outside of France.
22kWh battery, could only charge at 16A on a 240V supply. Yikes.
