You could add another system and have it charging a battery via DC and still remain grid tied. Although you might want to consider charging the battery via an inverter/charger and this way would allow any excess power from you existing system to also charge the battery.
Get a decent capacity battery and along with your PV systems you are likely to find your spring/summer/autumn import much lower.

3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!)
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS

so at the moment all the generated electric is used by house
i have an eddi box  so summer heats water & aircon ( end march - end sept )
winter is storage heater choice of 2 3kw units via a change over switch   ( ps was amused by storage heater thread   old junk  new life  but does the trick )
so all that was generated on workshop roof would be for after sunset
so say i put 2  -  2.5 kw of panels on roof of workshop what batts & charger is recommended
i no i wont get all i need in winter  but every bit helps
