St Barnabas Chapel (2009)

On Saturday I received a letter from Ofgem E-Serve stating that my application for accreditation has been successful and I have been given ROC and REGO scheme identification numbers.
Yesterday I received a letter from GoodEnergy starting

Urgent – You must be accredited to receive the Feed-in Tariff......

Existing generators are eligible to be paid under the terms of the Feed-in Tariff provided that they have successfully completed the accreditation of their generating system under the terms of the Renewable Obligation.

If you do not successfully complete your accreditation process by 1st April 2009 you will not be entitled to to any payment via the Feed-in Tariff......

Please complete the document with the required information and send it back to us in the pre-paid envelope without delay.

I assume the 2009 is a misprint and should be 2010.

I am both fed up of filling forms and am well aware of MCS issues. I decided to phone GoodEnergy up and say that “As I was already accredited it was pointless filling out another form”. GoodEnergy agreed.

This sounds very promising. Anyone else with GoodEnergy received similar letters?

Yup - same letter.

After fighting with ofgem's website to log in (it refused to let me choose a new password etc etc ) I find that there WAS a query, but everything is on track.

Had a similar letter from SSE, advised them that I'm awaiting confirmation from OFGEM on my accreditation and will notify them in due course.

Sounds like a mass stampede by the energy companies to be ready for April.

Had no letters yet from SE or Ofgem, but having spoken to Ofgem on the dog & bone recently, they confirmed my Accreditation and promptly gave me my numbers  Smiley

We will have to wait and see how smooth the transition is into FIT's now  Roll Eyes
